Imogen has done another interview, this time with Digital Spy and it gives an outlook on how Imogen sees her role and the way the production touched upon the issues raised in the series.

Were you nervous about portraying the incest?
“No, not at all, because I believe Trevor Eve [who plays Prue's father] and I understood exactly what we wanted to do. And one thing we didn’t want to do was to play it completely safe, because if you’re going to do that there’s no point in remaking Bouquet Of Barbed Wire. At the same time we didn’t ever want to explicitly say, ‘Look what’s happening’. Without defending his actions in any way, Peter completely adores his daughter. She’s essentially his best friend. So when she suddenly becomes sexualised, I think that’s a very difficult thing for her father to get his head around.”

‘Daily Mail’ Interview

Due to the soon-to-be-released-on-DVD Solitary Man and Bouquet of Barbed Wire Imogen has been doing more interviews with the papers, one of which is ‘The Daily Mail’:

It’s very difficult to shock an audience today.

We’ve become such a liberal society, and it’s inevitable that of hilarious antics going on, but the sad thing is there aren’t ever that many. I’ve just been filming Fright Night in Albuquerque. It’s an intelligent vampire comedy – which I know sounds ridiculous – with Colin Farrell as the main vampire, and we all started to find things funny that weren’t funny at all because we were alone in this weird, desolate, mountainous landscape.

A new interview is online of Imogen talking about Solitary Man, Centurion and A Bouquet of Barbed Wire, as usual she sounds a lovely person to interview. She mentions about the friendships that she’s made on set, how she feels sometimes she’s learnt more on a film set than in the classroom and that she’s in a year long relationship with a young man.
